Female Chinese Soldiers Traveling With Louis Vuitton Bags

Chinese female soldiers traveling with Louis Vuitton bags and suitcases.

From NetEase & MSN YNet:

Internet exposes “military uniform women” at airport traveling with luxury brand bags

December 31st, Hua Shang Net (hsw.cn) netizen “大盈若冲” posted about running into two women wearing military uniforms at a Shenzhen airport, and being rendered speechless by how they were accessorized: two shoulder bags/purses, a Burberry and LV [Louis Vuitton] respectively, the luggage on the floor all in LV branded luggage bags and suitcases, and the black paper bag at the bottom left corner of the photo is a newly purchased Gucci. Finally, the netizen also intentionally took a look at the  sleeve badges on the two women, with the sleeve badge on the left woman reading “XX Military District”.

Attentive netizens calculated how much all of the items in the picture cost: Large LV luggage bag/each = 58,500 yuan, 5 * 58,500 = 292,500 yuan, small LV bag/each = 26,000 yuan, 2 * 26,000 = 52,000 yuan, and not including the rolling suitcase and other items, the total: 344,500 yuan [~52,197 USD].

The original post on Hua Shang Net:

Ran into two women in military uniforms at the Shenzhen Airport, covered with LV from head to toe

Burberry,LV,The two shoulder bags are respectively Burberry and LV.

LV,The suitcases on the floor and the large travel bags placed on them are all LV.
Gucci,The black paper bag in the bottom left corner of the photo is a newly purchased Gucci.
I believe all of the bags are all genuine/real.
I took a good look at the two women in military uniform, the left one’s sleeve badge read “Lanzhou Military District”…

Not necessarily a Q7, could be an X5.

网易上海市网友:

It’s fine, military people have the right to pursue luxury too, are they and their families not allowed to have money/be rich? Although, next time they should wear civilian clothes when they go out, [because] uniforms are more eye-catching.

1. Are they really soldiers? 2. Are the bags real? 3. Is the money legit?
First, I think that regardless of whether or not they are soldiers, there are no regulations that soldiers cannot use famous brands. Second, with China’s knock-off industry so advanced, I bet even if we put the bag in front of your eyes, you wouldn’t be able to tell for certain if it was real or fake. Finally, regarding how they got the money, even if normal soldiers can’t afford such expensive luxuries, is them or their families being rich something for you guys to be so bored as to be ball achingly nosy about?

网易广东省中山市网友 [少管闲事1]: (responding to above commenter)

网易广东省网友: (also responding to above)

With this kind of character, what kind of defense can you talk about? The military produces two kinds of people. One is the talented person. The other is the mentally unbalanced, who feels that after serving in the military for several years they haven’t gotten anything, so they lash out!

网易北京市网友 [tiger720]: (also responding to above)

First commenter [referring to 网易辽宁省手机网友 above], aren’t those in the military supposed to watch their bearing and appearance? The article also said very clearly that whether or not you have money is your business but if you wear the military uniform out and your behavior and appearance is unbecoming of a soldier, then you are in the wrong. Stop losing face for those in the military.

网易北京市网友: (also responding to above)

First commenter, the ordinary common people are taxpayers who are supporting them for what reason? Which one of their expenses isn’t paid for with taxpayer money? We pay money so that they can protect us, otherwise wouldn’t it be better for us just to raise pigs and have meat to eat?

网易河南省信阳市网友 [中国贪污腐败]: (still responding to above)

First commenter, you think you’re niubi just because you serve in the army, but I’ve never seen you fucking in any war fighting for the country, and who knows if you’d even have the courage to go to war. You’re just a bastard soldier who only knows how to bully the ordinary common people.

网易广东省广州市网友: (last one responding to above)

I daresay: If there were a war between China and America right now, not a single person in the military would voluntarily go onto the battlefield!!! The ordinary common people supporting them is just to give themselves some face [so Chinese people can say they have a military]!!! As long as everyone stays calm [as long as there is no war], everything will be okay!!!

What do you think? Real or fake?

    LOL, soldiers have bags.. so?!

God damn, what’s wrong with these people?

  • Spanky

Where do I join the Chinese army? Wanted to join the Chinese Communist Party but this looks even better! Remember the women soldiers in the National Day Parade? Miniskirts and boots! What a uniform!

  • Eric

    Nice … bags!

I’d like to get my hands on them …

  • Ray

I dont see any issue here. I can get LV bag in china for 200 Yuan. How sure you are they are using the original? I bought Lowepro camera bag in China just for 140 Yuan when the original bag price is about USD 150. I dont see any different on my bag compared to the original one,

    • Yeah, really don’t get why everyone gets so surprised. I have a Rolex watch that works great and cost me 100 RMB for 2…

    • Hypocrisy

silly laowai. don’t you know that chinese joke today? laowai come to china to buy fakes. chinese go overseas to buy real LVs. not one but a dozen ! hahaha

      • I’m not sure who is sillier: Laowai coming to buy fake brand-name items in China, or Chinese paying the “Peking Pound” for the real deal. If one is buying technology–cameras, computers, batteries, etc.–buying the original is definitely worth the price. Paying out your nose for items of clothing that are only valuable because of the name brand slapped on them? Not so smart, perhaps.

Both groups seem a bit silly when it comes to brand-name clothing, frankly.

  • karen

surely fake LV? this is shen zhen.. fake bags galore

  • xmcx

Wow, websurfers in China, with their manner of picking onto anything, are quite the fascist/BigBrother kind. It’s almost certain this will spiral into a human search.. for what? Oh they look rich. Gee. What a wonderful society you have there.I’m afraid it’s not just pure stupidity that makes Chinese websurfers so, but the combination of selfishness and the close proximity of an enoormous mass of extreemely poor poor people. The rich city dwellers are living next to poor masses, more than the equivalent of all Africa, in their country. The only thing that stops the poor from fighting for all they can, coming over to the cities en masse and settling -like it or not-, is a fostered nationalist sentiment used to align interests…good luck to the regime with that, it will take a lot of it to make both ends accept to live next to each other.
Also, wtf these people talk as though the military’s job is to fight war? This kind of rhetoric has been discarded in the civilized world for so long, it’s worrying to see old China is still at the times of Attila the Hun! Other countries talk about “preserving peace” “saving public citizens in catastrophes” etc
    New Year’s resolution:
I will never use the therm “netizen”, which is created by the propaganda machine at GCD, to give the impression that by going online you can play out some of your role as a citizen, which is utter bollox, seeing as your role as a citizen consists more importantly in voting, debating, living by the law and being busy with people. Instead of you-and-me douchebags being in charge of nationwide investigative journalism, armed with a cellphone camera and our self-interests, I’d rather leave journalism to trained professionals who dedicate their life to it, and not need to play spy taking candid snapshots of my neighbour – but maybe that’s because I don’t come from a totalitarian Commie background. So stop saying netizen, because GCD wants you to say it.

[Note from Fauna: “Netizen” is an English term, not Chinese. In Chinese, it is just “网友”. Why do you add so many meanings to an English word and say it is made by the Chinese communist party? That does not make sense.]

    • xmcx

Take the finest source on any topic, and look up that word:
      http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=netizen

Out of the 6 definitions, 2 are in total agreement with me:

Def#2 says “nobody uses this word except Korean”, which is akin to saying nobody uses this word except Chinese, since Korea has been , is , and always will be a part of greater China (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Manchu_invasion_of_Korea)

Def#5 states as I did the numerous differences between an actual citizen and that word.

Even the pawn who takes credit for the word, M.Hauben, emphasizes “free speech and open access”: but you know 99.99% of Chinese people don’t give a rat’s pi about free speech. Overwhelmingly often whenever that word appears, it is preceded by “Chinese” -other countries have commentators or websurfers/”websailors” what-have-you-not-, which just doesn’t ring right, giving the impression that
some Chinese people are citizens in the commonly accepted sense, when in fact their “civil rights” are a farce.
      Tada
PS: Thanks for reply, almost the first I think, I am honored.
PPS: 网友is unbearable for the other reason that I’d rather not be friends with most of the people on the Internets, but let’s not delve into that

[Note from Fauna: I see, I thought “netizen” is just another word for “internet user” like this definition or the 1st, 3rd, 5th, & 6th definition from your source. I will consider using “internet user” from now on, or maybe I will just continue to use “netizen” and help make the meaning more general purpose. You are welcome to the reply, but I hope you will post good comments in the future compared to your past comments.]

      • Chad

Wow Fauna just laid the smackdown on you. lmao

I guess even she gets tired of the obsessive sociopaths and idiots around here.

        xmcx,

You’re a moron. Just please shut the F up.

Also even China’s under developed areas are better than Africa. Have you seen what Liberia is like? I’d pick the Chinese countryside (Which I’ve actually seen unlike you probably) any day over what looks like a post apocalyptic mad max society where anything goes including child rapists and eating people.

Seriously you’re nothing more than a huge anti China troll. Give it up already. I get it’s you’re a envious fuck, but enough already!

          • anon

Uh, no he didn’t. What good points did he make that were actually relevant to the post? The old claptrap about wealth disparity? Tell us something that isn’t already widely known. The straw man about Chinese people thinking their army should wage war? Which one? Wasn’t it enough that he embarrassed himself by trying to convince others to side with him using 2 out of 6 definitions when the other 4 sided with Fauna?

      • xmcx: Going to urbandictionary to learn something real about a word is idiotic, and nothing on that website indicates anything about the word being created by the Communist Party anyway. It doesn’t support most of what you said in your first post, and I think just looking at the example sentence in one of those defintions makes it clear that most of Urban Dictionary is written by angry American 5th graders, not anyone who knows anything about anything.

        In short: shut up.

“The world of the Netizen was envisioned more than twenty-five years ago by J. C. R. Licklider. Licklider brought to his leadership of the Department of Defense’s ARPA Information Processing Techniques Office (IPTO) a vision of “the intergalactic computer network.””

        • J.C.R. Licklider was a Communist spy, I thought everyone knew that, he was sent to try and make the whole world a communist paradise, with the election of the Socialist Barak Obama, his goal is closer than ever!

    • Chef Rocco

We don’t know where the dude xmcx come from, but what he is promoting here seems a sort of internet caste system.

According to xmcx, only first class internet users are “netizens”, who are living in “free world” and are able to enjoy FOS, rule of laws, human rights etc.

Chinese internet users are second class, they should be called websurfers which are inferior to netizens simply because they are ruled and censored by GCD. xmcx thinks GCD coined the name “netizen” to make Chinese websurfers feel good about themselves. If Chinese websurfers want to upgrade their status to first class, they must overthrow GCD.

xmcx definitely an interesting guy, I am wondering how much he would charge if websurfers want to rent the name “netizen” from him? looks like he has something “for rent”, right?

      • Or we can go further and create a multi tier system:

        1. Cyberlords – the people who commission or create the internet architecture.

        2. Netizens – the people who get (mostly) free access to that internet architecture.

        3. Webserfs – the people who are herded into specific regions of the internet or kept from having the same access as netizens.

        4. Hackers – the anarchists/terrorists actively subverting the architecture of the world wide web. Denounced by cyberlords (and their real world masters) except when acting on their behalf.

    • mankouzanghua

why concern yourself with China and its netizens — sorry, internet users — if it’s just a commie totalitarian state full of selfish, Big-Brother fascists brainwashed by nationalist sentiment?

when people don’t say what you want to hear, you argue that journalism should be left to trained professionals? sure you don’t come from a totalitarian background?

  • red five

Why are Chinese troops even ALLOWED to accessorize with civilian gear while in uniform? It’s unbelievably common. Very unprofessional. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Western airman, marine, soldier, sailor carrying around shit like that while in transit through a public airport, bus or train station.

At the risk of turning this into another x vs. y….

    • john digmeme

True that, you get an olive green rucksack with a backwards, monotone flag on it.

I noticed this too, maybe the bags are fake, maybe the girls sleep around, maybe their families have money, maybe they made sacrifices in other areas of their life to afford them. All non-issues. The issue is that it looks unprofessional and detracts from the community spirit of the military. Furthermore, look at the responses of the common civilian! They’ve now lost pride in their own forces!

At least her cell phone looks appropriate…

  • Sunni

Chinese as a population are extremely gossipy. And this is a fucking fact. Those blind nationalists who say otherwise are just…. blind.

I don’t understand why this has to be made a story with photographic evidence. So what they have LV bags?? So what they’re wearing Burberry?? Is it a crime? Should they be ashamed that they’re rich? Or that they’d like to indulge in materialistic pleasures from time to time? It’s not like they’re flaunting it in our faces, they didn’t ask to be photographed. I say bullshit to fake 清高. Is it always righteous to be poor and live poor or be rich and live poor?
Honestly, the person who wrote this excerpt and photographed those girls should seriously consider reevaluating his/her priorities. Do something useful with your nosiness.

    • k2000k

Agreed, though red five makes a good point about having accessories while in uniform. It does look unprofessional, and not very intimidating. Other than that why should anyone care about what sort of items or clothing they wear, I have some Chinese friends who tried to explain this sort of mindset too me, and honestly, I just cannot understand it. It is such a waste of time and energy to get worked up over what someone should or shouldn’t have. It’s one thing if someone is flaunting wealth while others suffer or use public funds for their own personal gain, but getting on some nobody because they have a designer bag?

      • Sunni

Hmm.. I didn’t know that there are strict regulations against carrying none-authorized items when in uniform. I retract most of my statements.
Though I still stand by the fact that the Chinese populace is extremely gossipy/nosy. And that living poor is generally praised while living rich is looked down upon. I’ve been educated as such ever since Kindergarten in China.

    • anon

Don’t be a retard. “Blind nationalists” never argue about how “gossipy” the Chinese are. What kind of lame attempt at loading your argument is that?

Look, in a country where there is pervasive inequalities of wealth and a well-known culture of government corruption, you should be happy that the ordinary people are still getting upset by possible evidence of that corruption and inequality. It’s when they stop caring that you should worry. So long as they care, there’s a chance that they’ll do something that will improve the situation.

As it is, this isn’t very different from Americans getting upset with banking execs getting bonuses from government bailout funds. It isn’t even different from gossiping about the Italian prime minister’s pleasure parties. Everyone fucking gossips and they often gossip about what they see as wrong or inappropriate.

The Chinese woman who posted it obviously felt they weren’t fake LV bags and finds it inconsistent with the spending power that soldiers are supposed to have. One bag? Maybe, as many women who scrimp and save can eventually get one, but being decked out with LV?

It isn’t a crime, but it is suspicious in China. And that’s why she bothered to post it. It isn’t a crime to be rich in China, but it is suspicious when you display material wealth inconsistent with your apparent position or occupation in society. It’s like the Cartier clerk thumbing her nose at the hood rat that just walked in. To the woman who photographed them, they are most definitely flaunting it in everyone’s faces. They’re walking around in public wearing their military uniforms carrying and dragging about ten luxury items their military uniforms suggest they shouldn’t be able to afford. And someone photographed it, as many people everywhere in the world do when they have a camera, see something that doesn’t make sense and they have the inclination to share it with others. Where do you think all those FAIL and WTF pictures come from? Have you never been on the internet before?

How can you nosily comment on their nosiness and think it intelligent to tell them to consider reevaluating their priorities? You’re gossiping on a website about Chinese netizen gossip and you’re complaining about gossip? Get over yourself.

      • Sunni

Like I said, I didn’t know that it is against regulation for the uniformed to sport anything other than authorized items. I have already commented that I would like to retract my statements. Maybe you didn’t see that post.

“It isn’t a crime to be rich in China, but it is suspicious when you display material wealth inconsistent with your apparent position or occupation in society. ”
        ^
LOL If that’s not gossipy then I don’t know what is….

Anyway, I still stand by what I said about the Chinese being nosy. If you say otherwise, you haven’t lived in China most of your life. I have.

And please refrain from calling me a retard. Verbal abuse won’t get you anywhere.

        • anon

No, I didn’t see that post. I posted just a few minutes after you apparently but I’ve noticed that there is some delay before comments appear. Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt.

It seems you still missed the thrust of my response to you, which is that I disagree with your “Chinese as a population are extremely gossipy” statement. Calling you a retard is because you followed it up with the suggestion that anyone who disagrees with you is probably a blind nationalist. If you’re going to use such infantile tactics to express your opinion, why so indignant when others do likewise? Name-calling is all it is. Your English is certainly good enough to know what premised my calling you a retard. You’re not that dumb so stop pretending to be so.

Now, about you missing the thrust. I believe people get suspicious everywhere in the world when they see something inconsistent with their expectations. These people, everywhere in the world, will then talk about it with others, including online. I don’t find this example to be evidence of Chinese people being any more nosy than other people. It’s like Muslims commenting about religious leaders spotted with female companions they’re not supposed to have. It’s like Americans gossiping about what special treatment Paris Hilton or Martha Stewart enjoyed in jail. It’s like the Taiwanese gossiping about lavish weddings for the son of a military official.

You may have your reasons for thinking the Chinese as a population are extremely nosy but I don’t really think this is persuasive evidence to support your stereotype. I’m not irked by you having that stereotype either, but by your eagerness to call people blind nationalists for possibly disagreeing with you. How did you ever think that was an intelligent thought?

And you know, I’m skeptical about you having lived in China most of your life. Of course, I’ll be the first to say I very well could be wrong but I’ll also be the first to say that I’ll never know for certain when you’re just a stranger on the internet who can type whatever he wants. But in all sincerity, please tell us when you left China and developed your fluent English language skills. You’ve repeatedly emphasized having been in China during kindergarten. What grade did you leave? How much of your education was spent abroad? Or at least in international schools primarily taught in English perhaps?

          • Sunni

Sigh… As much as I would like to, I really don’t have the time at the moment to provide you with solid evidence supporting my “Chinese are gossipy” claim. Off the top of my head, though, whenever I turn on the TV, I’m bombarded by shows like 幸福魔方,8090,人间,世间,etc that expose people’s private lives to the extreme. The interviewer/show hosts would always ask the most intimate questions which embarrass even me, the viewer, and the cameras always follow into people’s homes even when denied access. Instead of editing these parts out when requested, the clips still get aired. And these shows are always the ones with the highest rating. I’m sure there are gossipy people all over the world, but compared to where I am living now, I feel that China really comes on top.
I apologize if the use of “blind nationalists” offended you. I guess I was in the heat of the moment. I take that back if it so satisfies you.
I left China in grade 6, and I am in 3rd year university now, so I have lived in China most of my life. I did not attend international school and had no prior English knowledge until 12 years of age. I was educated in a… fully Chinese environment, I guess you could say, before that time. So I think I would be able to make a fair comparison in a first person perspective on the differences between everyday life in these two countries. To be honest, I have never noticed any huge differences in external factors(living conditions/etc) between the countries. The only difference is the mentality of the people. Too lazy to elaborate on this.
I guess I should mention that I love my homeland. I always have and always will. I would like to go back to China for my career if the opportunity arises. However I can no more (as I have done before) turn a blind eye on a lot of issues which I’ve been exposed to as I got older. Call it 恨铁不成钢情结 if you will. I’m getting carried away here… I guess I did have time after all haha.

          • mankouzanghua

you have excellent english skills, and not just for someone whose english exposure started at age 12. nice going!

    Real? No.

    Fake. Fake. Fake.

Every one of those bags is counterfeit – well-made counterfeits, but counterfeits.

They paid MAYBE 8,000 Rmb for those bags, TOTAL.
IF they didn’t bargain very well.

“They paid MAYBE 8,000 Rmb for those bags, TOTAL.”

RMB8000 for half a dozen or so counterfeit bags?? The merchants at the Silk Market in Beijing must LOVE you. I’d say RMB800 would be a lot closer to the mark if they’re fakes.

You can tell that all the people bitching about these women on NetEase and on here are men.

Not because women would give more leeway to these soldiers because women like designer bags, but because these aren’t purses or bags.

They’re luggage, and these women are in either an airport or a train station. They’re not accessorizing their uniforms – that’s just the luggage style they chose to own.

  • Hongjian

Well, these two soldiers pretty much display the ‘old PLA’ in all its unprofessional glory.

In a country where you can see every nongming and wannabe chengguan running around in a baggy and absolutely shit-fitting military uniforms (Type 99 Woodland Camoflage for those interested), having two female soldiers who would just be some culture-troop members running around with LV-knockoffs isnt anything special or “extra-unprofessional” compared to the everyday madness of the “old PLA”.

I say “old PLA”, because with the introduction of the new Type 07 digi-camoflage uniform for the PLA, the CMC at least made some strict rules for their procurement, so that not every nongming could buy them in any fucking corner shop, as the old uniforms.

Thus, the sightings of ‘PLA soldiers’ behaving unprofessional by wearing mishmash uniforms decreased dramatically, since all these nongmings and chenguangs, still wearing the old Type 99, can be distinguished to the real soldiers wearing their new Type 07 uniforms, with most of them behaving military correctly (of course not the officers again).

but there’s still a long way for the PLA to go, from a ‘people’s army’ made of nongmings as the grunts and bored princelings for the CO corps, to a truely professional army made of highly inspired and motivated volunteers, with real military discipline, code-of-conduct and a working NCO corps who would slaps the shit out of these girls, no matter if they are Li Gang’s daughters.

    • Stark

      +1, this one gets it

  • Ho Hum

haha liked the way they all piled on the military guy.

    • If the paper bag is from a Gucci store at the airport then that suggests that the other stuff is real. But I can’t see how they come to the total amount. The math doesn’t make sense to me. Have a look at this picture:

      http://soldiersystems.net/blog1/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Serial-No-3817131.jpg

The woman on the left is just carrying some random backpack. This is a common sight in Israel. So not all Western militaries are so pedantic about uniform.

      • anon

Yeah, I don’t understand the calculation either and I haven’t read enough of the original post to see how it was arrived at.

      • justinchina

But in Israel, every (except the extremely religious) citizen is a soldier, and everyone is a standing member of the army, so of course it’s more common. there it’s reverse, if you are active, you have to take your primary weapon with you even when in street clothes.

  • Pong Lenis

From the one poor pix it’s impossible to see whether the stuff is real or fake. They don’t look fake from what can be seen, they are at least good fakes. Or real.

  • Mik G

I have no special insight on this post, but in the book “One Man’s Bible” by Gao Xingjian, he talks about a girl he knew during the Cultural Revolution who was in the military in some clerical capacity, but her role was actually to provide sex to senior officers. I don’t have any authority to speak of to say that’s what’s going on here, but I suspect that practice may continue in the PLA. (As for the indulgences of American officers? I also have no idea)

  • John

What’s the big deal? It’s China. The bags are fakes.

    • kissmyass

even this is the real one, so what??
girls need bags like guys need blow jobs…..human rights everyone…hahaha

    • Mik G

Even if the bags are real, the issue at the core of the controversy doesn’t really relate to these girls or their bags. The issue is the privileged status of the military in China. Officers live in a parallel world where they are not accountable to normal citizens. Unlike the American military which is legally required to get its money only from the budget it receives from Congress, the PLA owns many businesses both as the primary investor in a state owned enterprise and as individual officers or units exercising their power for private enterprise (even where that represents a conflict of interest with their military obligations). So, against this background, when people see military personnel openly displaying luxury items, the question on many people’s mind isn’t just “Is that a real bag?” but more broadly “Where did they get that money? Their own pay? A side project? Official kickback? Why do we supply them free food, housing, and benefits if they’re using state resources for personal profit?”

  • camlost

Damn, I was hoping for pictures of cute chinese girls in uniform.

  • bunny99

Things are not always what they seem!

Just from the photo posted here it is possible that these army personnel have been told to escort the wife of some VIP through the airport and are just guarding her bags while she is in some first class lounge. The VIP may have put the scarf on that soldier because she looked cold, the soldier then dare not remove it.

I have seen soldiers carrying shopping for civilian women who looked liked the wives of some rich guy (i.e., tall hair and bejeweled like a Christmas tree).

In this case it may not have been a wife, but might also be a female VIP, a friend of someone.

Maybe it is the same here.

    Don’t judge too soon :)

    • justinchina

if i can’t judge immediately, then there is no fun in judging at all. without the factor of instant gratification, i wouldn’t do it. also, if they are security, they suck, unless they are SMS’ing the advanced guard to make sure the sales are still going on.

  • Jess

Even supposing that these are genuine-branded products, it makes you wonder why they would spend so much money on them when everyone is going to think they’re fakes anyway…

  • dim mak

What’s so good about these super expensive brands anyway, they just look like normal $10 bags to me

  • MadeInChina

look at how adorable she looks..awww~Grade C fakes.

  • mp

These Chinese soldier-girls need to get a clue from their Korean neighbors. Kim Jong iL wouldn’t let his Pyongyang traffic girls carry designer bags, SZ fakes or not, much less his soldiers. Mark my words, this represents a serious decline of esprit de corps, and the start of a slippery slope. Next thing you know, Chinese will have gays in the army, and it will be the men toting LV bags.

  • S

This is directed to the “LV” “Burberry” and “Gucci” bags. Ugly bags [all of them] regardless of the branding [counterfeit or “real”] still ugly. Someone needs to memo LV and Burberry and Gucci that their bags are vomit-colored. 吐 色 包包 [tsbb]?

  • LIU

    LOL.. one word, Counterfeit~!

  • mimi

    1. Brand names are OVERRATED *duh*
    2. Its a bag, no big deal
The amazing thing is how much money these women are spending just because they want to show off their “status” LOL
Good luck finding a good partner who will put up with that type of materialistic behavior…if they want a partner that is

  • Alan

I bet they are packing some serious heat inside those bags!

  • JinaSensei

What’s the problem with them liking luxury items? Aren’t we all wanting better things in life? Brava to both of them!

  • jammy

Pictures are just pictures and people should not read so much into it. Could be fake or these female soldiers work in the back office rather than on the front line and could be someone’s mistress for all we know.
